BMW recalls nearly 570,000 cars to fix cables


BMW will recall in the United States and Canada, almost 570,000 vehicles battery cable connection may fail and cause the engine to stall.

The recall affects the popular 3-series sedan, station wagon, and convertible and two-door coupe, from 2007 to the 2011 model year. In addition, it also includes the 1 Series Coupé and Cabriolet from 2008 to 2012, and the Z4 sports car from 2009 to 2011.

Electrically connected to the cable connector and the fuse box terminal in the car can be reduced with the passage of time, and can break the trunk-vehicle battery and between the front of the fuse box.
