Four people were killed and hundreds of thousands of people to be evacuated after a typhoon hit eastern China Buffett, destroying houses and farmland, and close ports and airports.
Buffett played packing winds of up to 151 kilometers per hour (94 miles), Fuding City, Fujian Province, early Monday, before weakening to a tropical storm later in the day, the official Xinhua News Agency reported.
Xinhua News Agency said Tuesday that at least four people were killed and four people are still unaccounted for.
On Monday, in Zhejiang, south of Shanghai, suspend flights and train services.
The report said that in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, the storm destroyed more than 1,700 houses and 46,800 hectares, crops.
It hit China Typhoon No. 23 this year.
