10,000-gallon tank explodes at Pa. plant; 1 dead


10,000-gallon fuel tank in western Pennsylvania industrial park to fly across a road exploded, killing the workers who were welding nearby.
Firefighters said the spilled 7,500 gallons of fuel tanks, submerged dike surrounding area. They said the spill has been contained.
Explosion occurred in the Brownies Oil Company in Reno Mercer County Industrial Park. The industrial park is in Greenville, remote borough 129km southeast of Pittsburgh and near the Ohio line about 6000 inhabitants.
Volunteer Fire Chief transfer Phil Steele confirmed that the oil companies to the person who died. He told the Record - Argus newspaper, it is unclear what the man welding tanks blew up. He said there were no injuries or deaths.
