Norwegian posts Q2 jump in sales, earnings


Norwegian Air Shuttle to say thank jumped 23 percent last year, the number of passengers and the cost reduction program compared to its first-quarter revenue and earnings soared.
The rapid growth of budget airlines, said profit in the quarter more than doubled over the past year, to 19.7 billion kroner ($ 32.4 million), while sales increased 27 percent to 400 million kroner ($ 6.6 million).
