Us shale oil output will grow to 7 million 600 thousand barrels in October.


Oil production in seven major shale oil producing areas is expected to increase by 79,000 barrels a day to 7.6 million barrels a day in October, the American Energy Information Association (EIA) said Monday.
The surge in shale oil production boosted overall U.S. crude oil production to a record high of nearly 10.7 million barrels a day in June. June is the latest available monthly data.
The EIA said in a monthly report that production in the Permian basins of Texas and New Mexico is expected to increase by 31,000 barrels per day.

Five other major shale oil producing areas increased in October. Haynesville shale oil production area is flat at 43000 barrels per day. Haynesville is the smallest among the seven major shale oil producing areas tracked by EIA.
Output from individual drilling rigs for new wells in the Permian basin is expected to drop by 9 barrels per day, and is expected to increase in all other shale areas.
Meanwhile, U.S. natural gas production is expected to rise to a record 73.1 billion cubic feet a day in October, nearly a billion cubic feet a day more than in September, and for the ninth consecutive month.
In October 2017, US gas production was only 60 billion 300 million cubic feet per day.
EIA predicts that all natural gas production in large shale basins will increase in October.
