French troops end combat mission in Afghanistan


According to the French Defense Ministry website reported on the 20th, the French army will be located in eastern Afghanistan the Kapisa province Neijielabo military base officially handed over to the Afghan government, the move marks the end of the French army combat mission in Afghanistan.

 

It is reported that the base 400 French soldiers have been withdrawn to a military barracks of the Afghanistan capital Kabul. Base equipment has been shipped back to Kabul, these devices will be shipped in the next couple of months back to France.

 

According to French media reports, before the end of this year, the last batch of the French army combat troops will leave Afghanistan. France in Afghanistan, leaving only 1500 soldiers stationed in Kabul to train officials.
