US officials said Trump or will visit Asia in November


A US official said on Tuesday that US President Trump would visit China during his first official visit to Asia in November. The visit will coincide with the North Korean nuclear test triggered the tension in the region.

The United States and its allies have said that China's greater pressure on the DPRK to urge its abandonment of nuclear weapons and missile programs is growing. China is North Korea's largest allies and trading partners.

Chinese President Xi Jinping in April this year in Florida, Palm Beach and Trump meeting had invited him to visit China. The two leaders also met in the July G20 summit gap.

Trump is preparing to attend the US-ASEAN summit and the East Asia Summit in November in the Philippines, as well as the APEC summit in Vietnam.

Reuters asked the Chinese Foreign Ministry to comment on Trump's visit to China, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not respond immediately.

The Japanese Broadcasting Association (NHK) quoted unnamed diplomats reported that Trump also considered visiting Japan and South Korea during a visit to Asia in November.

Trump in February this year, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe invited him to visit the invitation before the end of the year.

"The agreement reached in February is still valid, and we earnestly hope that the visit will take place at some point in the year, but we have not yet determined a specific time," Japanese Foreign Ministry officials said.
